MBRT
Mindfulness-Based Resilience Training
MBRT is a stress resilience education and skills training focusing on growth mindset, awareness, compassion, and adaptive habit development amidst a landscape of occupational stress and trauma (OST). It was developed out of research with first responders by Brant Rogers, Richard Goerling, and Dr. Mike Christopher. MBRT is an evidence-based training that changes the narrative around OST, and resources participants with more skillful responses to the complexity of both their professional and personal lives. Both Mindful Badge and Pacific University’s Mindful Health and Resilience Lab are active in its research applications - as well as other academic institutions across the US. MBRT is offered as an in-person group intensive, and in online weekly and hybrid models.

MBRC
Mindfulness-Based Resilience Counselling
MBRC uses the evidence-based psycho-educational framework of MBRT in a group therapy format. The program is well suited for first responders and frontline health professionals. There is a greater emphasis on inquiry and group processing, and using evidence-based treatment modalities such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). MBRC is offered by mental health clinicians as a group counselling program and may be covered by extended health insurance plans in Canada. It was adapted from MBRT by Dr. Ashley Greaves (Eddy) and Renae Stevenson RCC.

mbRP
Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention
MBRP was designed as a novel treatment approach for individuals in recovery from addictive behaviors. The program integrates mindfulness practices and principles with cognitive-behavioral relapse prevention skills. MBRP practices are intended to foster increased awareness of activations, destructive habitual patterns, and “automatic” reactions. MBRP practices are designed to help pause, observe present experience, and bring awareness to the range of choices available in every moment. Learning to respond in ways that serve instead of react in ways that are detrimental to health and happiness. MBRP is offered in-person and online.

MBSR
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
MBSR is an empirically-supported psycho-educational group program that teaches mindfulness and meditation practices as a health intervention. It was created by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979. MBSR offers participants the possibility to develop a different relationship to stress resulting from chronic physical and psychological illnesses. Research outcomes have demonstrated positive improvements in physical and psychological symptoms, as well as changes in health attitudes and behaviours. MBSR is offered in-person, online and in intensive formats.

mpeak
Mindful Performance Enhancement, Awareness & Knowledge
mPEAK is an advanced mindfulness training program for personal and professional development to attain new levels of performance and success. Mindfulness is effective precisely because it is a way of being and relating to all aspects of life, rather than a specific technique or tool for a particular goal. As with physical training, this brain training program is based upon the understanding that optimal outcomes occur most often when participants continue to engage in the practices and exercises on a daily basis as a part of their training regimen. It is offered in both an intensive format and an 8-week online format and is built upon the latest brain research related to peak performance, resilience, focus and flow states.

AWE is suitable for both youthful and elder populations. AWE utilizes play, art, and nature as experiential invitations to deepen mindfulness skills. AWE is offered both in-person and online.
